Camrose Association for Community living is a non-profit organization that helps people become an accepted and participating community member. CAFCL was founded over 50 years ago by parents of children with disabilities. We have grown to an organization that currently provides support to adults with disabilities, adults with an acquired brain injury, families at risk and children with special health and development concerns.

1Healthy Families Home Visitation Facilitator (Currently no openings at this time)
Healthy Families - Home Visitation is a voluntary in-home service offered to parents and parents-to-be in support of raising children to be healthy, safe, and secure. Home Visitation focuses on strengthening and supporting families. Our goal is: To build foundations for strong family functioning, to promote healthy childhood growth and development, to cultivate the growth of nurturing, responsive parent-child relationships, support for prenatal care and its role in a healthy pregnancy and to enhance protective factors. We also provide long term support in response to substance use during pregnancy through the Parent Child Assistance Program (PCAP).

2The Community Disability Services Worker (CDSW)
The Community Disability Services Worker (CDSW) is a front-line position to support and facilitate the development of skills and competencies in order for individuals in service to pursue and fulfill their goals and live their best life. This position is key to supporting individuals to develop independence, promote community inclusion and build connections to the degree of their choice.

3Support Home Proprietor
CAFCL contracts private homeowners in the community to provide unique living options for adults with developmental disabilities. These options include room and board, an independent basement suite, or living with a roommate. The Support Home proprietor is contracted to provide support in the areas identified as the individual's needs (e.g. cooking, problem solving, community involvement.)
