SingAble Camrose

A unique musical experience offered by the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta and Camrose Association for Community Living.

SingAble is a community inclusion choir for singers of all abilities and levels of experience. Individuals drawn from all ages and stages of life with a desire to experience the wondrous benefits of music and singing are warmly welcomed to freely express themselves and discover their unique voices through some new and popular songs drawn from traditional, folk and contemporary styles.

SingAble Camrose is an inclusion community choir for singers of all abilities and levels of experience. The goal is to provide all community members, including those with disabilities and exceptionalities, the opportunity to explore and express their musical talents in a meaningful and rewarding way.

SingAble provides all members, including those who may have disabilities and exceptionalities, with the opportunity to explore music and express themselves in a meaningful and rewarding way. SingAble creates a warm and welcoming environment to all, regardless of experience, ability, background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. With the knowledge that communities are naturally strengthen when diverse groups are brought together through music, the University of Alberta Augustana Campus and the Camrose Association for Community Living are delighted to collaborate SingAble and build strong relationships within the rich musical community in Camrose and beyond.

Join Us

For Season 6 fall & spring sessions, SingAble will meet in-person between 7:00 and 8:00 pm every Tuesday night at the Augustana Faith and Life Chapel from September 19 to December 13 and January 30th to April 16, 2024. Facilitated by undergraduate university students and pianist, Dr. Roger Admiral, SingAble is directed by Associate Professor, Dr. Ardelle Ries, a passionate choral director, advocate for and researcher of multi-generational and inclusion singing.
